The Beyond Moose and Mountains industry strategy was featured at the monthly meeting of the Life Science practice of Gowlings law firm. Featuring connections to their offices in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa the Life Science team were updated on the impact the industry is offering to the economy of Canada. The presentation featured the national BIOTECanada GDP analysis of the bio based economy which is contributing more than 84 billion to the national GDP of Canada. The discussion focussed on the dynamic of working with governments at all levels to help grow and build the bio-economy in Canada and how best to align the industry public policy recommendations into a comprehensive national vision for Canadian governments.
