Business Development Fund Travel Subsidy
BIOTECanada is pleased to provide a Subsidy Program for our Schedule A members designed to assist Canadian companies to participate at international business development events.
Making the right connections and promoting yourself outside of Canada
can be essential to your business, but justifying the cost of attending
international events can be difficult.
Schedule A members looking
to attend international events this year may be eligible for a subsidy
of up to $2500 covering travel and registration to select partnering
and investor events, as part of BIOTECanada’s business development
program. For 2010, BIOTECanada will cover the cost for 1 representative
of up to 2 companies to attend the following industry leading
conferences:
• BioAsia (January 25-16, Tokyo, Japan)
• BIO CEO & Investor Conference (February 8-9, New York City)
• CleanTech Forum (February 24-26, 2010, San Francisco, CA)
• BIO-Europe Spring (March 8-10, Barcelona, Spain)
• BioEquity Europe (May 19-20, Zurich, Switzerland)
• BIO World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology (June 27-30, Washington, DC)
• BioPharm America (September 15-17, Boston, MA)
• Bio Japan (September 29 - October 1, Yokohama, Japan)
• BIO Investor Forum (October 5-7, San Francisco, CA)
• BioPartnering Europe (October 10-12, London, England)
• AusBiotech 2010 (October 19, Victoria, Australia)
• BIO - Europe International (November 15-17, Munich, Germany)
• Therapeutic Area Partnerships/Windhover 2010 (November, Boston, MA)
Funds will be made available on a first-come, first-serve basis and the
program is limited in number of companies per targeted event. Requests
must be made in advance of attending an event and you must fulfill the
eligibility criteria.
