BIOTECanada is pleased to announce Bio+ech Connec+, a unique forum for early-stage Canadian biotech companies to connect directly with the business development and investment leaders of multinational pharma/biotech companies.

The next Bio+ech Connec+ will take place on Thursday, May 5th featuring AbbVie.

This virtual forum will include a plenary session led by Henry Gosebruch, Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer, AbbVie, and Tracey Ramsay, Vice President & General Manager, AbbVie Canada. They will share an overview of the company, its R&D priorities including its pipeline and corresponding investment priorities for the period ahead.

Henry Gosebruch is responsible for corporate strategy, business development and acquisitions, search and evaluation, alliance management and AbbVie Ventures. Since joining AbbVie in December 2015, Mr. Gosebruch and his team have completed more than 75 partnering, collaboration, mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and venture transactions to bolster AbbVie’s commercial franchises and pipeline of innovative preclinical and clinical development programs, working closely with AbbVie colleagues globally.

AbbVie representatives will then engage in a Q&A session with the plenary audience. Following the plenary and Q&A, a select group of early-stage companies will be provided an opportunity to connect bilaterally with the AbbVie representatives.
