The collaboration will leverage Terrain’s advanced spatial proteomics platform to support the advancement of KC Bio’s lead therapeutic candidate, KCB-100, a novel small molecule in development for depression. The study will further validate the mechanism of action of KCB-100, a potent neuroplastic lead compound currently being optimized for oral dosing. The research aims to generate critical mechanistic and biomarker data to support the development of KCB-100 for depression, while also exploring potential applications in neurodegenerative diseases of aging, such as Alzheimer’s.
