[OTTAWA] – BIOTECanada officially opened the Canada Pavilion today at the BIO International Convention in Boston, showcasing Canada’s global leadership in biotechnology at the world’s largest biotech gathering.
The annual convention, hosted by Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), brings together thousands of global biotechnology and biopharmaceutical leaders over four days for in-person events, networking, programming, and partnering opportunities.
The Canada Pavilion will feature a dynamic program of events highlighting the sector’s expanding capacity, partnerships, and national assets including leading-edge areas such as radiopharmaceuticals. The Pavilion will also host the 2025 Gold Leaf Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, June 17 at 4:00 PM, celebrating the outstanding individuals and companies driving Canadian biotech forward. With over 400 Canadian companies and organizations attending, the Canada Pavilion reflects the strength and momentum of a sector that has attracted billions of dollars in global partnerships and investment. Canada’s biotech companies are driving innovation in regenerative medicine, biomanufacturing, artificial intelligence, vaccines, clinical trial expertise, and genomics, securing Canada’s place as a trusted international partner.
