Bioscience Association Manitoba (BAM) is hosting Regulatory 101 for SMEs to support early-stage, mid-size and growing bioscience companies by helping them better understand the steps in developing research and the key partners in Canada that can help support and guide your bioscience product or technology development.
This session is designed to provide companies with a key regulatory overview, training opportunities to develop teams and skills, wage subsidies to lower costs and key partners to advance product development. Learn practical strategies to overcome challenges and walk away with the insights and connections your company or project needs to thrive and grow confidently in Manitoba’s bioscience sector.

- Strengthening Canada’s bioeconomy by equipping companies with labour market information, training resources (including wage subsidies) and talent connection programs to meet workforce needs.

10:55 – 11:15 AM: National Research Council (NRC) – Human Health Therapeutics Research Centre
- A hub for research and innovation, supporting scientific development and collaboration across diagnostics and advanced manufacturing. From small batch manufacturing, clinical trials execution, to product formulation, ready for a CDMO at 50% subsidies available. They will take you from concept to commercialization.

- A nonprofit organization developing and promoting standards for medicines, dietary supplements and food ingredients to safeguard public health globally. Through training, audit prep and consulting services, they support companies on their commercialization journey.

- Canada’s national biomanufacturing training partner is developing skilled talent for the country’s growing life sciences and biomanufacturing sector through hands-on and flexible learning programs to develop you and your team’s skills.
